Top 3 tools for Web Programmers

The nice thing about talented programmers today is that many of them create softwares for users to enjoy for free and you can download it from the web. For that i salute those programmers! Cheers guys!

There are really lots of freeware nowadays. Too numerious to mention all. Others give you trial versions and expires for certain period of time and others are entirely free.

Maybe some of the most popular freewares, softwares that are absolutely FREE and doesn't require any software licence, are XAMPP, Notepad++, Photofiltre. These softwares, i could say, are needed by web programmers/designers like me.

XAMPP is an easy to install Apache distribution containing MySQL, PHP and Perl. XAMPP is really very easy to install and to use - just download, extract and start. If you want to create a dynamic web pages i think this software is one of the best that i can recomend. This is a 3 in one package and so easy to intall one click and you already have your mysql, PHP and Perl instantly. You can download them here :

Notepad++ is a free source code editor and Notepad replacement, which supports several programming languages(Ada,ASP,Assembly,AutoIt,C,C#,C++,CSS,Flash AS,HTML,PHP and a lot lot more), running under the MS Windows environment. I use this often to my coding coz Primarily, very handy in space of my hard drive (2MB). Secondly, it does not let my computer comsume a lot of its memmory(very fast in opening and does not hang). Finally, one of my favorite about this software is the Macro. Macro enable you to record what you have coded and run it anytime you want to do it again and you don't need to open your files to copy paste it(it saves a lot of your time). Syntax Highlighting and Syntax Folding ( For the programs supported )

WYSIWYG (If you have a colour printer, print your source code (or whatever you want) in colour)

User Defined Syntax Highlighting ( It allows user to define his own language : not only the syntax highlighting keywords,but also the syntax folding keywords, comment keywords and the operators. ( screenshot1, screenshot2, screenshot3, screenshot4 ).

Auto-completion (For most supported languages, user can make his/her own API list (or download the api files from downloadsection). Once the api file is ready, type Ctrl+Space to launch this action "see screenshot". For more information about Auto-completion, please see Auto-completion HOWTO.)

Multi-View (You have two views at same time. That means you can visualize "edit" 2 different documents at the same time "screenshot". Regular Expression Search/Replace supported(You can search and replace one string in the document by using the regular expression.)

Photofiltre, is an image editing tools that has a lot of functionality like adobe photoshop. Though it does not have layers for you to enjoy i use this programs to a fast editing of my photos inorder for my Webpages to have a little flavor. Besides, photophiltre does not let your computer hang or load for a long time just opening it. You can Download it here.

Flixin.com is a site where you can record your video and host it as well for free. You can download it through it's original format .flv a lot of other formats. You can also get it's source code to put it to your MYSPACE, BLOGGER, EBAY, LIVEJOURNAL, TYPEPAD or just get it's URL and other format. You can also download this for your Iphone/Ipod or windows mobile. You can also email this directly to your friends to share it. The things i love a bout this web site is that Primarily, they host your video for free and don't delete it for sometime. Secondly, You just open their site and record immediately, no need for 4 pages registration and a lot of staffs to enjoy their features. Finally, after recording your video do what ever you want about your video and they don't have any terms and agreement that all the recording you made is their copy right. The video is totally yours. Great thing about forums

A lot of people nowadays who are engaged in the Internet world have their own membered forums to share their ideas or ask questions.

But what exactly do we get in joining forums?
Does this help us in any way?
Do we benefit from it?
For me, these are definitely yes. Belonging to the right forum and of our choice is a win-win situation.

Here are some of my reasons why i love forums.

Primarily, forums can help you to solve your problems like in Programming, Designing, movies... Almost everything that we can think off. How? Forum members are from various fields, expertise, places, countries and groups that is why, we could share opinions about a certain subject from different points of views, logic and approach. Here, we could discover that there are numerous ways to solve a single problem.

Secondly, being an active forum member gives you the privilege to be known in the internet world and get a great job through this.

Thirdly, you can show your work to your fellow forum members and ask comments for any improvements and suggestions. This is very helpful since nobody is perfect, right?

Finally, choosing the right forum for your field of interest can absolutely help you improve your skills. Taking into a consideration my membered forums PHPUGPH who conducts seminars to us members to improve our skills on PHP and programming skills, and FlashVillage who gives free templates of flash designs to their members and teach them on how to use it.

These are few of the many reasons why being a member of quality forums is great.

"Human Organs For Sale"

A lot of students in Baguio Philippines is now afraid to come to school and most of them are being escorted by their Parents on entering school Due to the incident of kidnapping during day light. It is said that their Primary purpose is not to ask for money but rather this guys get their victims internal organs (eyes, heart and others) and after getting their organs they just put some money inside the mouth/body of the victim and leave it anywhere and putting a note "Thanks for the Gift".

Apparently the group behind the crimes kidnap children and young women, get their internal organs (most likely for selling) then dump their bodies elsewhere. The news clip I saw in TV Patrol World last March 7, Friday featured one of the fortunate would-be victims who managed to resist getting caught by one of the suspects. Her attempted abduction took place in Cavite while she was on her way home from work. The young woman mentioned that she already saw a number of children who were wailing inside the van. Naked Wings

I've been inspired creating this by watching the movie Kamasutra. Though a lot of our citizens don't want this movie coz they say it's full of last and every thing. But for me i see this movie as an art. I am seeing this his different side of view. Though they show the private part of their body, but the point is the story and moral lesson that they are showing the audience.

Lonely Heart

I am having a hard day today. I feel so lonely. Well you see, my one and only pet which my girls friend gave to me "Chick" died. He is so precious to me, it's not because my girl gave it not me. But rahter he is so intelligent that he knows where his food is placed and never ate food that i didn't gave him. He sleeps at my side and wakes me up everytime my alarm sounds by pecking my head. I missed him so much.

My Guardian Angel

My girlfriend gave me a chick as my pet. I love it so much coz he always like to sleep. He follows me where ever i go. He only eats the one i gave him and he wakes me up whenever my alarm sounds. As if he is like my guardian angel. I'm So happy for having a chick like him.
